Textile pre-filter e.g. for the mechanical removal of heavy iron loads (rust) or other soiling (cloudiness). The 10 "sediment filter with 5 µm pore size also protects the subsequent filter media from coarse contamination and extends the service life of the micromembrane.

The filter cartridge has to be changed after 6 months (according to DIN EN 806-5, Appendix A). In principle, up to 3000 liters of water can be filtered within 6 months. However, an earlier change may be necessary if water flow is noticeably reduced. This is not a defect in the filter used, but rather an indication of an increased occurrence of fine particles in unfiltered water.
Use only with cold water, protect from frost
