CW 20 Stage 2 carbon block
Filter cartridge for CASCADA WHITE, equipped with easychange technology.
fineness 0,8 µm
The cw20 filter cartridge contains an innovative filter medium made of activated carbon (Activated Carbon Composite ACC) with a special fiber to protect against germs. The raw material for the activated carbon are coconut shells. The combination and the matrix used result in a considerable increase in the filter efficiency. Protected by patent. You can find detailed pollutant retention rates in the next table.
Please note regarding further retention options:
Activated carbon is able to remove dissolved organic trace substances such as pesticide active substances and their metabolites or drug residues by adsorbing these substances from the water. The more non-polar the substances, the more they will be adsorbed on activated carbon. Ionic substances such as minerals, salts and lime, on the other hand, remain in the water Source: Wikipedia

The filter cartridge has to be changed after 6 months (according to DIN EN 806-5, Appendix A). In principle, up to 10,000 liters of water can be filtered within 6 months. However, an earlier change may be necessary if water flow is noticeably reduced. This is not a defect in the filter used, but rather an indication of an increased occurrence of fine particles in unfiltered water.
Use only with cold water, protect from frost
